Dylan Rieck (MM ’09) has won a position in the Portland Opera Orchestra beginning this season. Led by General Director Christopher Mattaliano and Music Director George Manahan, the Portland Opera launches its sixth decade of great opera in 2016 having grown from two performances of Die Fledermaus in 1964 at Madison High School to 23 performances of four productions this season at the Keller Auditorium and Newmark Theatre in the Portland Center for the Performing Arts.
