Christina Chan Song An (DMA ’20), with her Favola String Quartet, won the Grand Prize and First Prize at the 7th Coltman Chamber Music Competition. Congratulations to Christina, Haeni Lee (violin), Nick Hammel (violin) and Ruben Balboa III (viola), as well as a big thank you to their coach, Prof. Sandy Yamamoto.

CANCELED… Due to the concerns surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, South by Southwest has been canceled.

Presented by South by Southwest, KMFA and Golden Hornet, the 6th Annual ATX Composers Showcase at SXSW 2020 will take place at the Parker Jazz Club on March 18th beginning at 8pm. The lineup includes Mother Falcon with Diana Burgess (BM ’15) and Tetractys with Matthew Armbruster (MM ’16) and James Burch (DMA ’16):
